Braids

Sooo I just reciently realized that YouTube is a magical source for hair styles and nail designs. Yes, I'm slow. But when I'm at a blank for new hair and nail styles, I go to YouTube. I highly reccomend it. I learned how to do this basic twist braid on a video and got it down in one shot. Its super easy and its a nice alternative to a regular French braid. And the Dutch braid is pretty much a French braid but inside out. I know I'm loving it.

Soooo I haven't posted in a while, but during all this time I've been collexting photos to share. I've got a lot of nail and hair photos to come but here's my latest nail design. I got the idea off Instagram. They're UP nails :)

Pure Happiness

Just so you know, I am a GIANT foodie. ^ This being one of my favorite things in the whole world. This, my friends, is chocolate pizza. Yes, i said it! Chocolate pizza!! This is gourmet chocolate (regular milk and white) with melted peanut butter drizzled on top. It's SO good and i never walk out of this place without having a slice. This is my dog Starfire!! She's eight years old now and she's a Labrador mix. We're not really sure what all the breeds are, but we figured that she's mostly Lab. She's watching me make a peanut better sandwich. She LOVES peanut butter. Starfire is my first real pet (besides fish) that I've had and i love her to pieces :)

Recently Learned Stuff

I recently learned how to do these nails. I did them yesterday off of the cutepolish YouTube channel, the newest post by cutepolish. I also just learned how to do this fishtail braid on multipleYouTube videos. I'm absoloutely loving this braid since I do braids a lot when my hair isn't looking too great. It's also awesome for hair with layers. And yes, i do have purple highlights :)

I also really liked this design. They're really cute for summer and pretty easy to do. I did a matching design on my toes where the watermelons were on my big toes and the rest were the pink color I used on the melons. I also got this design from cutepolish. Here's the link:

Confessions

Confession: I play the cello :) I've been playing for about 5 years now, and i have chosen to put it down for a little while to try out photography as an elective. But I do really enjoy it and this actually is my cello. I also have a pic of it on my Instagram account. 

For my first official picture post, i thought i would go all out and show these crazy heels. Honestly, I would NEVER wear them, I just thought that the teeth inside were cool.
